CBCO To Host Blood Drive Monday The 17th

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, the sole supplier of blood, platelets and plasma to more than 40 area hospitals including Lake Regional, is holding a blood drive in Laurie on Monday, August 17.

Donors will receive a premium velour beach towel and can enter for a chance to win a $10,000 dream vacation to the destination of their choice.

The drive is taking place inside the St. Leo Hall at the St. Patrick Catholic Church at 176 Marian Drive in Laurie from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Officials say you should eat well and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating.

Donors must be at least 16 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and may not have given blood in the past 56 days.
