Tax increment financing is on its way for the redevelopment of the former outlet mall after the Osage Beach Board of Aldermen gives unanimous approval during its meeting Thursday night.
Tax increment financing uses tax revenue from a completed project over a number of years to reimburse developers for their costs.
The redevelopment is being projected to run about $650-million which includes the demolition of part of the existing mall and renovating the remaining structure.
Bass Pro is also expected to be the main anchor of the redevelopment which will also be included in an entertainment district.
