Sunrise Beach Man Dies in Morgan County Traffic Accident

A Sunrise Beach man is dead after a one-vehicle accident on Missouri-135 south of Spirit Lane in Morgan County.

The highway patrol says it happened late Thursday morning when the 2022 International truck driven by the 66-year-old ran off the road and struck a tree.

It’s unknown if the man was wearing a seat belt at the time.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.
