Climax Springs Man Seriously Hurt in Benton County Accident

A Climax Springs man is seriously hurt when the vehicle he was a passenger in ran off the road and struck a tree.

The highway patrol says it happened around 8:15 Wednesday night on Hastain Avenue south of Mullholland Road in Benton County.

The 31-year-old passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was life-flighted to University Hospital.

The 47-year-old man from Montana who was driving was uninjured according to the highway patrol.
