A former Miller County deputy will spend the next 20 years in prison after being sentenced on Friday on one count of First-Degree Child Molestation.
In exchange for the guilty plea which was entered in May, four other counts against Kyle Carroll were dropped.
It had been alleged that Carroll took off from the scene in Eldon and was captured in Cooper County and that he admitted he had sexually assaulted a child under the age of 12.
