Kansas Man Injured When Watercraft Strikes a Bridge Pillar

A 58-year-old from Topeka, Kansas, is injured when the watercraft he was riding too close to a bridge pillar hit the pillar.

The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 8:00 Thursday night near Little Island Drive in Camden County.

The man was wearing a life jacket and suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
