MODOT Puts Out The Call For Winter Hires As Fall Operations Begin

We may not even be close to the Fall season beginning but MoDOT is already putting the call out to those who want to pocket some extra money during the winter season.

“Say you’ve got a CDL and you’re a local truck driver, ready mix driver, dump truck driver, and you just want to earn a little bit extra cash in the winter time when your operations, obviously you’re not pouring concrete when it’s snowing outside, but we’re still plowing snow so you can come plow snow for us.”

And, for what it’s worth according to the Farmer’s Almanac, MoDOT winter crews will remain busy this winter with the prognostications calling for several snowfalls statewide.
