Stover Man Injured In Shannon County Motorcycle Wreck

A motorcycle accident Tuesday evening in Shannon County sends a Stover man to the hospital.

The highway patrol says it happened on U.S. 60 near Birch Tree when a vehicle defect caused the 58-year-old to lose control of the bike which  ran off the road and struck an embankment.

The man was wearing a helmet and was taken  with moderate injuries to a hospital in Springfield.
