Two Versailles residents face felony charges after the Morgan County fugitive apprehension team and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force execute a warrant in the 24-thousand block of highway-TT in Versailles.

A probable cause statement filed in the Morgan County Courthouse indicates that 48-year-old Stacy Schumacher had been wanted in Camden County for failing to appear in court on a drug charge.

It’s alleged that 35-year-old Trent Baldwin tried to keep officers from getting into the residence and, once they did, he was taken into custody along with Schumacher before they both denied consent to search the residence.

A warrant was obtained and the subsequent search discovered suspected meth and paraphernalia along with four 12 gauge shotguns.

Schumacher and Baldwin are both charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a firearm.

Bond for Schumacher was set at $50,000 while bond for Baldwin was set at $20,000.
