14-Year-Old Eldon Boy Drowns in Swimming Pool

A 14-year-old boy from Eldon is dead after drowning sometime late Friday afternoon or early Friday evening.

The highway patrol says the original call reported that the juvenile was missing before an alarm call was received at a nearby residence on Frazier Oaks Road where the boy was found at the bottom of the swimming pool.

The 14-year-old was taken to Lake Regional Hospital and pronounced dead early Saturday morning.
