Deer Harvesting Numbers Continue To Rise After Season Opener

After an opening weekend to the November firearms portion of the deer hunting season that saw a harvest of more than 70,000 across Missouri, the numbers continue to go up.

As of late Wednesday morning, the statewide number had risen to 97,358 which included: 1,444 in Benton County; 1,198 in Camden County; 1,107 in Morgan County and 845 in Miller County.

The top counties, as of Tuesday, were Texas, Howell and Franklin counties.
