Water Rescue After Car Swept Off Saline Slab in Miller County

With an expected break from the rainy weather coming up, lake area fire districts are putting the call out again, if you come across a covered roadway or low water bridge, to turn around, don’t drown.

The latest close call happened just before 4:00 Friday afternoon when a car was swept off the Saline slab by high water in Miller County.

Personnel from the Tuscumbia and Moreau fire districts responded.

There was no report of any injuries.
