With Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday all on the calendar for next week, the Lake West Chamber of Commerce is reminding you it’s also time, that Saturday, to shift gears and get into the spirit again for that big day in December.
“Load up the kids, load up the family, load up grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, whatever it might be, come on out to the City of Glory and at 6:00 PM we have a lighted Christmas parade,” says Chamber Director Mike Koenigsman.
He tells KRMS News that there’s still time to be in the parade, “If you want to get your vehicle, boat, trailer, car, truck, SUV, side by side, whatever it might be in the parade, you can give us a call.”
The Grand Marshals for this year’s lighted parade, the 24th annual, will be none other than Santa and Misses Claus who will also visit with the kids of all ages after the parade at the Laurie Mall.
More information about the parade is available on the chamber’s website.
