High School Football Rankings Out

High school football. Latest state rankings are out.

School of the Osage after suffering just their second loss of the season, 27 to 20 at Boonville.

They do slide a little bit, but remain in the Class 3 top 10 poll at #9 down to spots from last week.

Seneca is the top ranked team in Class 3, receiving eight of the possible 9 1st place votes.

Valley Catholic #2 Live for life #3 at 5 and 2, receiving that other first place vote for Osage.

Of course, looking ahead a little bit to Week 9 where they’ll play Borgia, the Knights are receiving votes in the Class 3 poll, but not quite in the top ten.

Could be a top 10 battle.

However, if those two teams take care of business this week, School of the Osage, they will be at Southern Boone.

A congratulations in order for the head boys golf coach over at Eldon, Matt Frey named the NFHS.

That’s the National Federation of State High School Association’s Missouri Golf Coach of the year, after that big season for the Mustangs this past spring and Ahmad Hardy, the College Football Hall of Fame Player of the Month.
