Illegal Alien Facing Charges In Miller County For Stolen Vehicle & Fake Resident Card

A 22-year-old illegal alien finds himself being charged in Miller County with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and driving without a valid license.

A probable cause statement alleges that a check of the vehicle Alan Torres Espinoza was driving on Columbia Avenue revealed that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Elgin, Illinois.

Torres Espinoza was identified as a roommate living with the owner of the vehicle who did not give permission for the vehicle to be taken.

Torres Espinoza was also allegedly in possession of a fake U.S. Permanent Resident Card and a fake Social Security Card.

Torres Espinoza was taken to the Miller County Jail where he was being held on a $25,000 bond.
