Lincoln Man Injured In Motorcycle Crash

A 52-year-old man from Lincoln is seriously hurt just after 7:00 Wednesday morning when he failed to negotiate a curve sending the motorcycle he was riding off the roadway where it struck a fence.

The highway patrol says it happened on Carpet Bend Road south of Route-H in Benton County.

The man, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was flown from the scene to University Hospital.
