Missouri Senator Josh Hawley Says He Plans To Continue Speaking Outdoors

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley is speaking about his plans following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Hawley says this will not stop him from participating at outdoor events..

“No, this will not deter me from from doing what I always do. You can’t give into the violence. I mean, you just can’t. If we, if we all retreat into our private spaces and close our doors and stay behind locked doors and windows and gates, I mean that’s…..we need the opposite of that.”

Hawley goes on to say that he thinks all lawmakers DO need to make this key change..

“I think we’ve got to quit referring to our political opponents as terrorists and, and Hitler and, you know, whatever, fill in your pejorative.”

Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a University Event in Utah.

At this time the suspect is in custody, according to the FBI.
