Missouri football wrapped up its regular season Saturday with a 31-17 win over Arkansas to retain the Battle Line Rivalry trophy in Fayetteville.
It was another game where both Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts go over 100 yards for the game on the regular season.
Roberts 697 yards, 6.17 yards per carry and five scores.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Hardy, he falls 21 yards shy of the regular season rushing title.
He’s at 15160 yards, 6.47 yards per carry and 16 touchdown.
Certainly a contender for the Doke Walker Award.
Now Mizzou waits to see who their bowl opponent might be.
Maybe Illinois, maybe the Mayo Bowl, Who knows for the Tigers, but they will have one more game.
They won’t get the double digit wins for a third straight year, but nine wins isn’t bad.
Tiger coach Eli Drinkwitz told reporters after the game Saturday, he made a decision to ramp up talks to get his contract extension done following the loss to Oklahoma.
