Mobile Home Fire Extinguished Near Eldon

A mobile home off highway-52 near Eldon is destroyed by fire.

The Moreau Fire District says the call was received just after 6:00 Thursday morning (10/23/2025) and, upon arrival, the home was already on the ground.

It’s believed that one person was there at the time.

Mutual aid was provided by the Eldon and Tuscumbia districts.

Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
