One Person Dead After Two-Boat Collision on Table Rock Lake

One person is dead and another seriously hurt after a two boat collision on Table Rock Lake in Barry County.

The highway patrol says it happened around 1:45 Monday afternoon when a jon boat and a Regal open motorboat collided while meeting on the Kings River Arm.

The operator of the jon boat, a 57-year-old man from Shell Knob, was pronounced dead on the scene while an occupant in the other boat, a 63-year-old woman from Lone Tree, Colorado, was seriously hurt and taken to Mercy in Springfield.
