Osage Beach Police See Busy Memorial Day Weekend

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise but Memorial Day weekend was busy around the lake area and for local law enforcement.

The Osage Beach Police Department reports 10 arrests for the week ending this past Sunday with seven of the arrests happening between Friday and Sunday.

Lieutenant Michael O’Day says only two of the arrests were alcohol related for DWI while three people were arrested on outstanding warrants, two people for driving suspended or revoked and one person each for possession of a controlled substance, domestic assault and failing to obey a traffic control device.

For the week, Osage Beach police also initiated 123 traffic stops.
