Ozark Conference Returning To The Lake Area For Camdenton, Lebanon & Waynesville

Monumental news coming from Camdenton yesterday about the Lakers and the Ozark Conference.

Yes, the Ozark Conference, which has been defunct for the last few years, coming back with a lot of familiar faces.

Camdenton, along with Lebanon High School, Waynesville High School and Rolla High School are set to rejoin what is being called a reorganized Ozark Conference for the 2027-2028 school year.

So not next year, but the following sports season.

Next year, Camdenton will remain in the Central Missouri Activities Conference.

Business as usual for the fall, winter and spring sports, but a desire to regroup with some of their old rivals is on the horizon.

Now, what does the rest of that conference look like? T

hat still remains to be seen, but some real incredible news yesterday and I think it’s going to make a lot of people happy, especially in Laker Nation and Yellow Jacket Nation, where that rivalry between Camdenton and Lebanon is so sorely missed.

Well, it’s coming back.
