A safety note before you eat your next meal….especially if pasta is one of the food items.
Almost 245,000 pounds of ready to eat pasta linked to a deadly Listeria outbreak are being recalled.
The FDA says the products made by Nate’s Fine Foods were sold at Walmart, Kroger (Gerbes), Trader Joe’s and other stores.
At least 4 deaths have been linked to the outbreak.
Almost 2 dozen people have been hospitalized, including a pregnant woman whose miscarriage was tied to a related infection.
If you have any of the affected products…the CDC and FDA recommend you throw them out or return them for a refund.
