SEC & BIG 10 Decline To Back “Protect College Sports” Act As Drafted

What we told you last week, there was a bipartisan bill going through Congress hoping to address some of the issues with college sports.

Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and Senator Maria Cantwell out of Washington put this bill together.

But yesterday in a joint statement, a rarity for sure, the SEC and the Big 10 said they did not support the Protect College Sports Act as it was drafted.

The two leagues rattled off several disagreements they had with the bill as drafted.
