Several Minors Cited For Possession Of Alcohol In Camden County

The Missouri Division of Liquor Control is putting a damper on the spirits of several underage persons in the lake area.

Courthouse records show at least six cases filed on Wednesday in Camden County charging the minors with purchasing or attempting to purchase or possession of liquor.

The probable cause statements allege the minors were in possession of as little as one beer, a couple cases of  beer and up to a couple 12 packs of vodka lemonade.

One of the minors was also accused of using a fake ID to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol.

All six were issued citations for the class-D misdemeanor along with a court date in September.

Locations where the minors were busted were not released.
