…many in the Camdenton area are caught by surprise early Saturday evening when the storm warning sirens started to sound.

There was no inclement weather anywhere to be found or any kind of emergency that would warrant activating the sirens.

The activation was confirmed and described as accidental. The storm warning sirens in Camdenton are usually tested on the first Tuesday of each month.
