Operation Care Remains Underway Until Sunday

The highway patrol is out in force for Operation CARE…Crash Awareness and Reduction Effort…which enforces all traffic laws with the goal to reduce the numbers of accidents, injuries and fatalities over the holiday.

In 2024 alone, the highway patrol covered 1,664 accidents which resulted in 11 fatalities and 571 other injuries.

The official holiday counting period will come to an end at 11:59-PM on Sunday.
