Gravois Fire Starts New Year With 51 Calls For Service

The first week and a half of the new year saw personnel from the Gravois Fire District respond to 51 calls for service.

Randy Scott, Division Chief of Training, says 40 of the calls were medical emergencies.

There were also five calls for natural cover fires, two calls for structure fires, two other calls for non-specified types of fires, and one call each for a traffic accident and a crash detection signal.

The busiest day proved to be Monday, the 5^th, with 11 calls.
