Miller County Accident Sends Two with Serious Injuries to the Hospital

An early Saturday morning (June 27) accident on eastbound highway-54 near Storage Road in Miller County sends two people with serious injuries to the emergency room.

The highway patrol says a 21-year-old woman from the Jefferson City area was driving the car when it ran off the road and overturned.

The driver and a passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Union, were not wearing seat belts at the time and were both seriously hurt. They were taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
