Additional Charges Filed Against Accused Child Molester in Morgan County

More trouble for a 79-year-old man from Stover who’s already being held on four counts of child molestation with a $250,000 bond in Morgan County.

Those charges against Joseph Albert Kucera date back to alleged incidents with a child, or children, under the age of 14 in January of 2017 and August of 2020.

On Thursday, another case including four more counts of child molestation involving a victim, or victims, under the age of 12 was filed against Kucera with those alleged incidents happening in January of 2022.

Bond on the new case against Kucera was set at $500,000 for total bonds of $750,000.

As of Thursday night, Kucera remained in Morgan County custody.
