Boat Fire Under Investigation at Lake of the Ozarks

A boat fire is under investigation in Camden County.

Mid-County Fire Chief Scott Frandsen says the call to the area on Neongwah Bend Road in Camdenton was received Tuesday morning and, upon arrival, a bass boat being powered by lithium-ion batteries was on fire.

Personnel were able to make quick work of the blaze keeping damage to the bass boat and that section of the dock.

There were no injuries reported.
