Update:

No injuries are reported following a Tornado that touched down in Clinton Missouri on Wednesday.

Fire officials say the twister struck the southwestern part of the city, near the Missouri Department of Conservation’s office at 2nd street, then traveled northeast through the city towards HWY 13.

Both the High School and Elementary Schools were affected by the Tornado, which apparently ripped A/C units off their roofs, which has resulted in schools being AMI for the day today.

Additionally numerous trees were damaged; several power poles were snapped & the storage building at American Building Products was destroyed.

Cleanup and restoration efforts remain ongoing today.
