Brumley Man Hurt In HWY 42 Accident

A Brumley man is seriously hurt in a one-car accident along highway-42 at Martin Road in Miller County.

The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 6:00 Monday afternoon when the car driven by 54-year-old Jason Rhoades ran off the road and struck a MoDOT sign before hitting an embankment and overturning.

It’s unclear if Rhoades was wearing a seat belt at the time.

He was seriously injured and taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Rhoades is also expected to be charged with DWI, C&I driving involving a crasyh and driving revoked or suspended.
