Camden County EMA Conducts Another Training Exercise To Stay Prepared For The Worst

The Camden County Emergency Management Agency is fresh coming off an exercise to be better prepared in the case of a major healthcare crisis.

The EMA participated, Wednesday, in the Non-urban Missouri Healthcare Coalition’s 2023 Medical Response and Surge Exercise.

During the exercise, the E-M-A was at a level-4 limited activation status.

The Non-urban Missouri Healthcare Coalition is a collaborative effort under the Missouri Hospital Association covering 92 counties with a population of more than 2.4 million across 54-thousand square miles.

The lake area of Camden, Miller and Morgan counties is in the Central Region while Benton County is in Region-A of the coalition.
