KRMS Sports Wednesday, May 10th, 2023

Big win for the Cardinals Tuesday.

Paul DeJong homer in the 9th inning, breaking a 4-4 tie.

Cardinals would add another run for a 6 to 4 victory in Chicago over the Cubs, making it three wins in a row.

Still, amidst all of the controversy swirling around the decision to put Wilson Contreras at the designated hitter spot and allow Andrew Kisner to catch, and Kisner has actually been hitting quite well for the Cardinals to go along with his catching.

He was two for four with a run driven in two doubles on the night for Kisner.

Nolan Gorman homer in the first.

Lars Nootbaar, his third home run of the season in the third and fourth day young his tiebreaking homer the third of the season, jack Flaherty went five did not factor in the decision.

For the Royals, a rain delay was actually longer than the ball game itself.

Last night 2 hours, two minutes at the start delayed the Royals and White Sox in Kansas City, and then the two teams played a two hour ball game, culminating in a Jordan Lyles complete game.

But it comes in a loss as the White Sox win it by of four to two.
