A 48-year-old man from Cuba, Missouri, avoids a jury trial and is currently serving a 60-day shock sentence after entering a guilty plea late last month in Laclede County in connection to a fatal DWI accident in April of 2018.

Brock Aaron Turner had been accused of being the driver of the vehicle that crossed the center of highway-5 south of Lebanon striking head-on the vehicle driven by Cassidy Sharp.

Sharp was pronounced dead at the scene.

Turner entered his plea back on January 24th to the class-B felony of DWI-Death Of Another Not A Passenger.

He was handed a 15-year suspended execution sentence, five years of probation and was further ordered to serve the 60-days of shock.

Turner is serving the shock time in the Camden County Jail.
