An Eldon-area man charged with second-degree murder, robbery and armed criminal action is asking the court to set a bond in his case.
21-year-old Fernando Zell Hutchinson is accused of shooting 22-year-old David Davis while trying to buy some marijuana in Osage Beach in late March of last year. At the time, Hutchinson was reportedly wearing a shirt that read “Active Shooter”
The request being made is asking the court to modify his no-bond to $75,000 surety, or with a bondsman, only. The case, being heard in Laclede County on a change of venue from Camden County, is set consider the bond modification next Monday, June 16th.
A jury trial is currently set to begin on October 14th.
