Mizzou Falls To Georgia – Ends Season Winless

The season came to an end last night for Mizzou basketball, maybe mercifully so.

They lose in the opening round of the SEC tournament, 64 -59 to Georgia.

But another instance where the Tigers show life.

In fact, they led in the second half, much of the way, led by eight late.

But it would watch the Georgia Bulldogs go on a 12 -0 run to end the ballgame.

And the five -point loss, 64 -59 for the Tigers.

A seven -game, 20 -point scored streak for Shawn East comes to a close.

He was three of 12 from the floor.

Nine points, did have five rebounds, five assists, but also five turnovers.

Tigers offense stalled out too often in the second half with a lead and with a Georgia team.

That really struggled from the floor.

Mizzou finishes the season on a 19 -game losing streak, as difficult as that might be to believe.
