MO State House Speaker Leaving Early

Missouri’s top State House Republican is leaving his post ahead of schedule.

House Speaker Pro-Tem John Wiemann of O’Fallon is becoming a Vice President for Workforce Development at St. Charles Community College effective Friday December 4^th.

Wiemann has served in the House for 8 years but is term-limited and he lost an August GOP state Senate primary to Representee Nick Schroer.
