A break for motorists who use Route-54 between the Route-52 interchange in Eldon and 2-42 in Lake Ozark during the daytime hours.
That’s according to MoDOT Traffic Engineer Trent Brooks…“Because they’re getting closer to the lake and volume of traffic does pick up. They are working nights this week, so be prepared for that. And then also this week on that project, Thursday night, they’re going to be in the area of the Route W interchange. And so there’s going to be some ramps that are going to need to be closed.”
Brooks also says, starting Friday night, work will then shift to the 52-interchange near Eldon which will mean closures to the ramps.
The 22 mile and $12-million project, from Cole County to near the Osage River Bridge, is expected to be completed on or before December 1st.
