Spring training baseball is under way and young Royals left the Cole Reagan’s picking up where he left off last season.

Royals beat the Angels yesterday 1 -0 and Reagan’s gives up three hits over two innings but struck out five and did not allow a run.

Reagan’s acquisition from the Rangers last year continues to pay off huge dividends and he certainly figures to be among the top Royals pitchers once the regular season rolls around here in 2024.

Cardinals meanwhile split a split squad on Saturday and then blank the Houston Astros yesterday 3 -0 Mason Wynn who had been coming along a little slowly this spring had three hits a double and a stolen base made a great play in the field as well.

Wynn a highly tatted prospect got off to a slow start once he was called up to the big leagues late last year but certainly figures prominently in the Cardinals plans now and moving forward.

Mizzou basketball another loss despite a career high 33 from Shawn East Saturday at Arkansas Tigers still lose 88 -73.

Finally, congratulations to Abigail Fuglsang from the Camdenton Girls wrestling team she finished third place at state.
