A man from Newburg faces charges that he took a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am and used an altered title to make it look as if he owned the car when he didn’t.
33-year-old Joseph Esparza was arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville.
He is charged with burglary, forgery, and tampering in the first degree.
Court documents also show he went into a building in Waynesville in order to steal something.
Esparza pleaded not guilty on all counts.
The judge has ordered him to appear for a counsel status hearing next Monday the 12th.
He also has a preliminary hearing on January 3rd.
