Northern Lights on Display in the Lake Area Tuesday Night

And the Northern Lights were in full view across the Lake area and most of the nation Tuesday night.

It’s due to a geomagnetic storm striking the earth.

The latest forecast has the lights continuing tonight as well, as the system continues at a G4 level intensity.

The magnetic storm also is wreaking havoc with satellites, GPS devices, and radio communications.
