Numerous People Arrested In Human Trafficking Sting

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway’s Office has announced the arrests of eight predators after a human trafficking operation was conducted in Taney County.

The AG’s office teamed up with the Taney and Stone County sheriff’s offices, the highway patrol’s Information Analysis Center, Our Rescue and the Pathways Project Coalition of the Ozarks for the demand reduction operation which was carried out on June 10th.

All eight are charged with patronizing prostitution. Three of the eight also face additional charges separately which include enticement of a child, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and supplying liquor to a minor.

Bonds ranged from no bond for three of the suspects, $25,000 for one of them and $50,000 for the other four.
