One Injured In Car Crash On Route C Near Barton School Road

One person is injured in a one-car accident Tuesday night on Route-C near Barton School Road in Miller County.

The highway patrol says a 16-year-old girl was driving the vehicle before losing control of it, sending it off the roadway where she overcorrected, sending the vehicle back across the center of the roadway before overcorrecting again and causing the vehicle to strike a bridge railing.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Her dad, 55-year-old Roger Rodden of Brumley, was a passenger in the car and not wearing a seat belt.

He suffered minor injuries and was treated at Lake Regional.
