Power Failure Caused By Equipment Failure

Power has been restored to over 1,200 customers in Linn Creek following a massive outage late Monday night.

According to Ameren Missouri, equipment failure at a power substation caused the power to go off down Y road in Camden County.

The station is located near Big Surf Waterpark.

Officials say the failure was repaired late in the evening and the power was restored.
