Students Stay Home Again In Cole Country R-1 Due To Illnesses

For the second day in a row, students in the Cole County R-1 School District in Russellville were kept at home after classes were canceled on Wednesday and again today due to an increase in illnesses.

In a social media post, district officials say they are monitoring the situation plus the potential for winter weather before making a decision whether or not to have classes on Friday.

Any missed activities are being rescheduled.
