Third Drowning Of 2022 Reported This Past Week

The highway patrol reports the third drowning of April on Table Rock Lake.

The most recent incident happened Friday afternoon when the bass boat operated by 65-year-old Kenneth Hedges, of St. Charles, starting having engine troubles downstream from Hickory hollow Resort.

Hedges then started to paddle the boat when he fell overboard and drowned. Hedges was not wearing a safety device at the time.
