Two Barnett Residents Injured In Cole County Car Crash

Two Barnett residents are hurt late Tuesday morning in a one-car crash on eastbound highway-54 near Pleasant Hill Road in Cole County.

The highway patrol says the car driven by 80-year-old Francis Henderson ran off the road and struck the guardrail before returning to the road then travelling off and hitting the guardrail again.

Henderson and his passenger, 79-year-old Mary Henderson, were both wearing seat belts and escaped with minor injuries.

They were both treated at St. Mary’s in Jefferson City.
