What started as a medical call to help someone who had reportedly fallen down a hill in Osage Beach was only the start of a strange sequence of events leading to the woman being arrested on a felony assault special victim charge.

The probable cause statement filed in the Camden County Courthouse indicates that the alleged homeless woman from Arkansas was discovered and became combative with E-M-T’s trying to place her on a backboard.

After arriving at Lake Regional Hospital, the woman identified as Shanon Marie Labrot, which ended up apparently being an alias, then continued with her resistance striking one E-R technician and a nurse.

The woman then curled up in a ball preventing Osage Beach police from handcuffing her.

Her hands were forcibly pulled apart so she could be cuffed and stuffed with a one-way ride to the Camden County Jail where she is being held on $25,000 bond.
